I think this is an awesome initiative by vodafone….yes there are a few minus points…but it does well what it is meant to do and is tailor made for people who not only need internet access but need an integrated facebook experience on their phone..someone like me….the price is very reasonable…one of the reasons why it would be a a better buy than the similar HTC ChaCha which is three times more expensive (though slightly better in certain areas)…the 1 year free fb thing is just great as well….the timing of the launch in India has been awesome as this will remove the problems teenagers have to face with the TRAI’S new 100 sms per day rule….the fb integrated inbox and contacts is great….this phone also cuts out everything without any actual value and integrates everything into the main device….for eg. there is no data cable but there is no need for it as well because photos can be directly uploaded to fb within seconds…and i think the integrated fb chat feature is simply too good to be true and more than makes up for the lack of too many apps…if only it had WiFi it would would have definitely been a must buy….but all in all I’m really impressed and I hope to get the Vodafone 555 Blue in my hands by the end of this month
