LG launches two new LED monitors in India

LG Electronics has unveiled two new slim monitor series: LG E60 and LG E90 in India. LG E60 comes in 3 variants – 20-inch, 22-inch and 23-inch priced at Rs. 9940, Rs. 12,200 and Rs. 13,000 respectively. LG E90 is a 21.5-inch monitor that carries a price tag of Rs. 16,900.

With a depth of just 12.9mm, LG E60 is one of the slimmest monitors in India. The series looks sleek and elegant and sports a futuristic neck design not often seen in monitors.With LED backlighting, the E60 monitors deliver a bright and clear picture, while the mega contrast ratio makes it possible to see the monitor’s full HD picture clearly from a wide range of positions. E60 series is also designed for convenient use with easy-to-use EZ Control OSD, photo effects and original ratio. LG E60 has a quick 5 millisecond response time.

The E90 features a response time of 2 milliseconds which could be optimal for viewing high speed action sequences. It’s also equipped with LG’s Image Booster software that’s designed to enhance the quality of steaming content from various video sites. Like the E60 the E90 is also designed to be eco friendly with reduced energy consumption features that allow it to consume as much as 40 percent less than conventional CCFL-backlit LCD monitors. It’s equipped with ports for D-Sub, DVI-D and HDMI.
