Apple has finally decided to launch iPad in India. iPad will available in India from January 28. The iPad will only be sold by Apple’s premium retailers. The iPad will be launched in two versions, the Wi-Fi-only version and the 3G+Wi-Fi version. Both will come in three capacities – 16GB, 32GB and 64GB.
The Wi-Fi only iPad will start at (approximately $570 or EUR 420), surprisingly cheap for Apple’s device, which is usually much more expensive outside the US. The 16 GB Wi-Fi version will cost Rs. 26,000, and the 32 GB and 64 GB versions will be also available, the 64GB version will be available for Rs. 37,000.
The 3G iPad will be priced at Rs. 33,000 for the 16 GB model and Rs. 44,000 for the 64 GB model. The 32 GB 3G iPad will also be available; its price is not yet known.
