Intex to launch cheapest Android smartphone in India

Intex is planning to join the Android bandwagon by releasing its first Android smartphone in February 2011. The Intex Android phone will be cheaper than the Micromax Andro and will be priced at Rs. 5,500.

Intex Android phone will feature a Android 2.2 OS, 2.8-inch resistive touchscreen, a 3.2 mega pixel camera, Wi-Fi connectivity and GPS support.
